Data Creates Unlimited Possibilities
Data is not simply an asset. At UCI, data is an integral part of our strategy. The Office of Data and Information Technology (ODIT) builds Collaboratories as engines to drive outcomes, research excellence, and individual empowerment. We use data for good, promoting equity and inclusion along with strong, ethical governance and appropriate use.
Creating and Sharing our Playbook
Our two first Collaboratories—The Collaboratory for Health and Wellness™ and The Collaboratory for Student Success™—are just the beginning. We’ve facilitated the creation of incredible interdisciplinary teams, who together are studying complex research questions and implementing transformative solutions. Our methods are action-oriented and repeatable, making them adaptable for different domains and industries.
